Statement of Confidentiality
The Counseling Center carefully guards your confidentiality.
It is our policy not to release personally identifiable information concerning the use of our services without your prior permission. We will be glad to send a report or to talk with the person(s) you designate, if a release form is signed by you. A copy of this form is available with our Administrative Assistant and Office Manager. Limitations to confidentiality are as follows:
- Where there is a clear and present danger that someone's life is at risk
- In the case of apparent abuse of a minor
- By court order
